UK AOC Newsletter - January 2005 |
A Happy and Prosperous New Year to all our MembersThis newsletter will, of necessity, be shorter than usual as your writer raises himself from his sick bed to put fingers to keys. Most pressing is the calling notice for the AGM, which will be held at the RAF Club on Wednesday 2 February. The AGM will see the induction of Bob Andrews as our new President and will be followed by a presentation on Underwater Communications by Prof Richard Ormondroyd from the Defence Academy of the UK (formerly RMCS). Details of the venue and Richard’s presentation are on the registration form. For those attending; the minutes of last year’s AGM are on this web site. Note that all members should get a snail mail copy of this letter, as we appear to have lost contact with some of you in the ether. SymposiaWe still have not received details of the venue selected by AOC HQ for the European Convention and are not now expecting it until after the next main AOC Board meeting in February.
