Recognition and Awards Programme

In order to support and encourage members of the UK EW community, the AOC UK Chapter has an ever growing recognition and awards programme.

The UK Chapter Board of Directors have now undertaken a task to review the various awards currently used with an aim to provide an even broader recognition programme that covers all areas of the UK EW effort. To include, but not limited to, EW awards in the world of Military, Academia and Industry, and within this EW Engineering, are all being scrutinised.

Timely and appropriate recognition of both individuals and units/organisations for achievements and contributions to the UK EW effort is considered a fundamentally important activity if we are to expand and diversify the UK Chapter membership. A comprehensive recognition system of appropriate and well deserving cases will go a long way in realising this aim.

Therefore, in order to solicit the wider membership, the UK Chapter Board is keen to receive your ideas for new categories/suggestions not currently covered. For instance, the Board are keen to establish a new award specifically for the EW Engineering community in particular within industry and the younger age group. 

All nominations or suggestions will be considered by the Board and should be submitted in the first instance to the UK Chapter President: Steve Roberts or Awards Chair: Jon (Swaz) Bramley.
